O evento ocorreu no dia 20 de novembro tendo como p\u00fablico alvo profissionais, t\u00e9cnicos e estudantes, do setor p\u00fablico e privado, especialmente da Regi\u00e3o Norte do Brasil.<\/p>\n<p>Entre os objetivos do evento estavam apresentar de que forma a atua\u00e7\u00e3o empresarial do setor leva em conta a preserva\u00e7\u00e3o do meio ambiente, a sa\u00fade e a seguran\u00e7a de seus trabalhadores e a responsabilidade em promover o bem-estar social das comunidades com que se relaciona; e estreitar la\u00e7os com o governo, corpo acad\u00eamico, ONGs, sociedade civil da Amaz\u00f4nia e empresas mineradoras.<\/p>\n<p>A representante do Instituto LIFE no evento foi Regiane Borsato \u2013 Coordenadora T\u00e9cnica do Instituto.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6316\" src=\"http:\/\/institutolife.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/Exposibram-001.jpg\" alt=\"Exposibram-001\" width=\"460\" height=\"345\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6317\" src=\"http:\/\/institutolife.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/Exposibram-002.jpg\" alt=\"Exposibram-002\" width=\"460\" height=\"345\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6318\" src=\"http:\/\/institutolife.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/Exposibram-003.jpg\" alt=\"Exposibram-003\" width=\"460\" height=\"345\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6319\" src=\"http:\/\/institutolife.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/Exposibram-004.jpg\" alt=\"Exposibram-004\" width=\"460\" height=\"345\" \/><!--:--><!--:en-->Along with CNI \u2013 Brazilian Nacional Confederation of Industries &#8211; and Imazon, LIFE Institute participated on the panel &#8220;Mining and Natural Capital: A business beyond economics&#8221; during the 4th Amazon Mining Congress. The event took place on November 20th having as target audience professionals and technicians from both public and private sector especially from the north region of Brazil.<\/p>\n<p>Among the goals of the panel, it can be highlighted the debate on how mining companies takes into account environment preservation, health and safety of their employees and their responsibility to promote social well-being of local communities.
