{"id":988,"date":"2012-06-16T08:48:50","date_gmt":"2012-06-16T11:48:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/institutolife.org\/?p=988"},"modified":"2012-06-16T08:48:50","modified_gmt":"2012-06-16T11:48:50","slug":"workshop","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/old.institutolife.org\/pt-br\/workshop\/","title":{"rendered":"Workshop Internacional de Neg\u00f3cios e Biodiversidade"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!--:pt-->Durante a Confer\u00eancia Rio+20, quando todos os olhares estavam voltados a discutir e refletir sobre um mundo mais sustent\u00e1vel, o Instituto LIFE, em coopera\u00e7\u00e3o com a Conven\u00e7\u00e3o da Diversidade Biol\u00f3gica (CDB) da ONU e com a Confer\u00eancia Nacional das Ind\u00fastrias (CNI), realizou o <em>Workshop Internacional de Neg\u00f3cios e Biodiversidade<\/em>, como um evento paralelo \u00e0 Confer\u00eancia no dia 15 de junho no Rio de Janeiro.<\/p>\n<p>O evento foi uma oportunidade de debater a import\u00e2ncia da conserva\u00e7\u00e3o da biodiversidade no setor de neg\u00f3cios, apresentando a\u00e7\u00f5es e pr\u00e1ticas j\u00e1 desenvolvidas e propondo novas posturas que devem ainda ser adotadas. Sob o formato de sess\u00f5es plen\u00e1rias, seguidas por pain\u00e9is, o Workshop contou com a presen\u00e7a de importantes representantes dos setores p\u00fablicos, privados, governamentais e de organiza\u00e7\u00f5es n\u00e3o governamentais, nacionais como internacionais.<\/p>\n<p>Os principais assuntos do Workshop inclu\u00edram indicadores e mecanismos de incentivo \u00e0 conserva\u00e7\u00e3o, como a Certifica\u00e7\u00e3o LIFE, desafios \u00e0 implementa\u00e7\u00e3o de pr\u00e1ticas mais sustent\u00e1veis, sugest\u00f5es e objetivos para os pr\u00f3ximos anos, cria\u00e7\u00e3o de novas ferramentas e pr\u00e1ticas que contribuam com este processo, al\u00e9m de experi\u00eancias reais j\u00e1 desenvolvidas e realizadas para a conserva\u00e7\u00e3o da biodiversidade.<\/p>\n<p>Ao final do evento, houve o lan\u00e7amento da Iniciativa Brasileira de Neg\u00f3cios e Biodiversidade. During the plenary and discussion sessions, the workshop had representatives from business sector, public sector, NGOs and academia. The main topics discussed were indicators and mechanisms aimed at biodiversity conservation such as LIFE Certification, challenges to the implementation of more sustainable methods, \u00a0real life experiences and next steps.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of the session, there was the launch of the Brazilian Business and Biodiversity Initiative, which is part of CBD\u2019s program on private sector engagement.
